Both restaurants are family-owned and operated. Raj Narula, a mechanical engineer turned restaurateur, is assisted by his partner and father Gurcharan, a former Indian diplomatic officer, and by his brother Ravi. The family also owns and operates Alta Travel, also located in the Market Mall.

"Following the recent market trends, Nepean seemed to us to be the most natural area in which to expand," says Raj Narula.
